  • Foul indicator question?

I have a split house, but all in a row. 8 lanes left, 18 feet space, 8 lanes right. I have upgrated to the stahl's radaray conversion. My problem is my lower end (scoring wise) detects the foul... puts the big "F" on the monitor, but machine runs normal first ball cycle. The high end works fine. Foul, sweep them off and new set, like it should be. Twelve strike scoring we have if that means anything. Thanks all!
Don't mind me, what you read is invisible.

    Re: Foul indicator question?

It sounds like the your lower end machines are not getting the foul signal. I guess you have AMF machines of some kind - if they are '70s, then the foul units need to be putting a 12VAC signal into A&MC terminals 7 and 8.

Do a wiring comparison with the pinspotters at the top end of your house. I reckon the answer will lie there.

If you have Omega tek boards that are newer they have jumpers on them so that the machine will respot even with a foul. Might be something to check into. If you dont have Omega teks, then I would definately check your AMC box as suggested by Ray.
