I have one lane the problem that if the pin is comming of the distributor to the bin, by pin 4 the pin bounce of the Pin Butt Guide back over the Pin Guide right to the sky and then the pin
Falls Through the bin and then you have a Pin Jam and a pin between table and Shuttle.
I have seen this problem before but its always on pin 4.
If you have one there, check the bin strap to see if it is broken or cracked, if there is not one there, put one there. You might also check the shock mounts on the butt plates, one or all might be broke. Also, check the guides to see if they might be cracked/broken.
All are just ideas. I am not the best mechanic in the world.
Definatly check your shockmounts. A bin strap can also make a world of difference. Another idea would be to make sure the distributor is not too high. This could cause the pin to hit the top of the pin butt guide and bounce. I would think it would do it at more than just the 4 but it's worth a check.
Give me a hammer and some duct tape and I can fix it!
I have new shockmounts, new strap, 2 new pin guides. The hight of the carriage support is equal to the bin. Tomorrow i wil check the distance between frontend and backend.
WAHSAM, The problem is the Distributor or the Bin, not the Shuttle. The pin goes from the triparm to the Pin But Guide to the Pin Guide and than goes the head of the pin rightup and falls then through the Bin and Shuttle.
Take top 2 bolts out of pin guides for the 4 pin and move pin guides upright. Put the 2 bolts back in and rest pin guides against the bolts. This will stop the pin from bouncing back too far.

This may sound funny, but check for the pin hitting the catwalk before it drops into the 4. I had 2 machines where I had to notch out the catwalk from the 4 to the 7. The pin bottom was hitting the wood and sending the pin sideways.
I checked Yesterday the Frontend to the Backend and there was a differends of approximately 1/2". Fix this and checked the level posision of the backend and frontend (it's ok).The problem are less but not entirely over.
Try this...remove the black pin guide 070 006 381/380. These just cause problems, IMO. I recommend removing ALL of these pin guides. Removed all of mine a decade ago, much better without them.
