xl up grade for 70's

What all does this include? Is it just electronics or does it include the steel table or what? I just do not think I understand what all is included in this upgrade. Can someone please enlighten me? Thanks

Its mainly electrical.You replace all of the pinspotter wiring,chassis, motors,are replaced.The table,bin pit backend all remain the same.Thats basically it.Your SA and TA switches are new and the cushion start swich is eliminated.If you have AMF scoring they give you new cameras and of course electronic triggering

Stepper relay. I am not sure what the boss is looking for as the end result. So I am asking questions.

The stepper relay is a tough old bird and has served us well. We are ready move foreward a few decades.

We do not have that many mechanical problems at this time.

I do like the steel table assy on the XL.

It is my understanding that you can only get the XLI upgrade now. They still sell reworked XL machines but don't do the XL upgrade anymore.

Nice pics Satanic. What all did they do on the table? I like the dist motor orientation. Does that dist rebuild really make a lot of calls go away?

Nothing on the table, they've been the same (unwired) since I've been there - over two years. All the electrical/electronic issues are gone. Except, for the occasional reset of the camera, but we're working on that. The chassis has a lot of features and is easily programmable. No table switch or sweep switches, though [img]/content/btubb/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif[/img]

Our distributors really suck. The only upgrade part for the distributors are the drive shafts from the BE motor.

Satanic- I have seen that camera issue before. Try adding a ground wire to the frame of the pinspotter. That may fix it.
