I can not get my BE nat. motor to run! I have the orange cans on them one is brand new and is wired correctly. It just sitts there and hums. if I turn the adjustment screw all the way in it will somtimes move slowly and still hum but no full pickup speed.
There is always more to life, but would someone tell me what it is!

If you are in a real hurry; pull the motor cord in a wall contactor add pull the ball- lift belt to start the motor..

Does the motor do this with no load on it?

Where is this magical adjustment screw I keep hearing about? Do you have a part number or Item number from page 12 "Combination Gear motor" diagram?

Yes it doesn't run with no load, I just have it sitting on the bench with an adapter cord pluged into it.

"magical adjustment screw": Is on the SSS lewis orange can used for differant horsepower ratings. I heard they work good with the backends

Thanks for the screw information I have been looking for that screw but only have Quality SSS that do not work and 1 orange canister that has not caused any problems yet.
