Is there a 5120 inspection form for GS machines? Does anyone have a copy?

How would you grease and lube plastic parts?

With non-lithium grease. Contrary to popular belief these machines are not maintenance free. Don't knock the plastic on these machines, if the entire machine was made of plastic it would be indestructible. It's the metal on these things that suck. They should have used a thicker gauge steel. The gauge they used it just above aluminum foil.

I never thought about a 51-20 program for a GS, that's actually a really good question.

I agree, they should have made it all plastic.

Not sure u would call it 5120 but yes there is a nice preventive Maintenance in the PM section of your GS operations and severive manual. It is something that we took and made adjustments to fit our PM system. We could not get much info at all on PM for our GSX machines 8 years ago when we got them. So after years on A2 pinsetters my crew and I made the best of that pm chart as we could. Not every center can do what some can, due to the size of there Maint. staff. As for grease, yes there are some nice grease out there made just for plastic. The one we use comes from Granger....part number is 5XB54..made by Mobile company, Polyrex EM is the name of the grease. after 8 years of use we see no issues with this grease..GL and hope this helps some AL.
