This has been happening for quite a while now but had gotten particularly worse during winter. (A hint?)
Basically the sweep and table come down after the second ball and freeze there. This happens on a particular set of lanes intermittently and also on one other lane. When the machines are run in ten pin mode they have no issues.
So I came to the conclusion that it must be a networking problem.
I replaced the switch that connects to the front desk pc but no dice.
Here is an image of the set up. The lanes that freeze are 11, 12 & 4.
Any ideas? I was going to get up in to the roof and replace the lan cable from the front desk switch to the machine switch but I thought I would get a few more ideas first. Keep in mind this doesn't happen when the machine runs in ten pin mode.
In my center it's usually an indication the scorer has locked up and needs a reboot. Often I find 10 little kids, thats 100 little fingers, on a scorer touchscreen at one time to be the cause!
I have had the same problem going on 3 to 4 months now i have just kept up on rebooting and the problem has gone away
i reboot every 2 days so far it has worked .
We had that problem years ago and it was scoring related. The scorer would lock up and then the pinsetter will do what you described. It looks like you do not have Frameworx, so I am not sure what you can try. But I believe that you are correct that you have network issues that cause this.
Good morning, I have built a tester for the MP Chassis for the 82-70 machines. Instead of using the cam switches I am using relays. My question is to anyone that may...
Is anyone running the solderless relays on the accelerators? How do you like them? What brand? How difficult to convert was it? Would love the feed back as I'm about to switch...
