Pusher rod retaining rings

I have a lane that keeps popping the 15mm retaining rings off of the sweep wagon. The pusher rod connects to the wagon here. Any one ever experience this? Suggestions?

Yes, it seemed like every time I had a sweep hit the snap ring would pop off and sweep would jump off track because only one side of the sweep was connected. I went to the the local Fastenal and got E clips and replace all of the 15 mm snap rings. I think it was 5/8 e-clips that I used, I had to use pliers to snap on because they were but I have not had one jump off in over 2 years.

i had that problem on a few of our sweeps when we first opened back in june 2011,those e-clips sound like a good idea.if i remember right the gs-96s had cotter pins there instead wonder why they changed the design.
