When changing multiple sets, it's best to remove/install one at a time. i have found that by doing this it's easier to put the tongs back in pretty much exactly as they came out and the teeth/grip strength work out fine.

Yeah install in closed position only, there was change made to the tong and they put out a service bulletin on it. Bulletin NO. CEB02-13 on 11-11-02 so you must have an older manual.For Sale, Parachute. Only used once, never opened, small stain.

I went through all of my machines and put a scratch in the paint where the end of the rack is, in the open position. That is why I put #3 and #10 in open. You could do it in the closed position before you remove them. I also take all of my tongs and racks out every year. It would be nice if Brunswick could make a permanent installation mark for the racks, during manufacture.John
