• Candle Pin

I was up in Massachusetts's last weekend doing a 16-lane screen and coat at a 10-pin center and in the same lot there was a candlepin center.
This was the first time I had ever seen the game and found it kind of neat. My son spent a few hours over there bowling and he said it was a lot more fun then 10 pin, but then again it was new to him. He also spent aprox. $70.00 there over two days in just linage, so need less to say it's just as expensive as 10 pin.
Has any one else had the opportunity to check out the “other types” of bowling?

Ed,
As you know I am leaving for Canada in a week or so and will check out the 5 pin game for you. The company I am going up to help out and interview with has their own design for a 5 and 10 pin machine. This should be really interesting and of course I get to help out in the 30 center. I will see what other kinds of games they have too.

Yup. When I'm at work I get to play with 8 Bowl-Mor candlepin machines as well as 24 Brunswick tenpin machines. The Bowl-Mors run better and require less PM than the Brunswicks.

It kinda cool because for every three balls thrown the machine only cyles once.
