    That's really cool, never heard of them. The oldest center we had here got 30's in the 1940's.

      Did this "thing" actually make it to production? or were they prototype machines.
      That deck doing a 180 spin to set pins is crazy looking.

        I believe this was a prototype. If I remember correctly, the first AMF machines that went into production were the 82/30 3900/4400 chassis.

          I dont really know too much about them but im sure they were designed by a guy named Gottfried Schmidt (Not to sure if thats spelt correctly) But i have no idea if they did get put into production. Very cool stuff though

            If I remember my history, Mr. Schmidt was on the ground floor of the AMF machines, i.e. the one with the flipping table, suction, etc. Some of his stuff went into what the 82/30 became. When the patents came up in the '80's or so, Brunswick came up with the GS series, named after him.

            That's a very basic history from memory. If anyone can add to this or correct anything, please do so.

                And being from overseas with different types of bowling like 9 pin,the "10" in GS10 meant what game it was setting for.Then after Brunswick bought it each major improvement got a different year GS92 96 or whatever they were until the X

                    Maybe like all the other names on this machine that were taken from AMF sweep/table,etc they can just add on some letters

                        4:1 Timing off..

                        *sigh* Hello friends..

                        I had a 4:1 go bad and I've never seen or done one before. Trying to search the depths of the forums, YouTube videos, it didn't seem too bad....
