  • bent detector lever

    ...when the "B" bolt breaks and the related shaft comes loose, it bends one of the standing pins levers in the detector. How does this happen and is the lever bent left or right, or bent forward or back. Thank you.

    I have never seen a bolt break on the detector, other than one of the three mounting bolts.
    On another note, I have seen detector levers break (thanks standing pins solenoid), but not bend.

    I would say it was loose and snapped off, or a fluke of nature.
