  • 7 pin side Guide roller

Noticed white plastic shavings on machine. found this. I remember reading something about the 7 pin side needing flipped; wasn't sure exactly what that meant.

First of all, that one roller half is trash because it's blown away from the hub.

Just take the thing off & replace both halves & put it back in. Make sure the spacers that go between the bolt & the inner race of the bearings are in both roller halves too or the guide rollers will warble & you'll have all sorts of ball wheel tracking issues as well as be causing the guide roller(s) to fail prematurely.

I flip the guide roller over on machines where I'm getting a 'floating ball wheel' problem that causes yo-yo's in the Lift Rods.
You throw them over (flip them) to create a different concentration of pressure on the ball wheel between the lower & upper guide rollers.

To flip these just means loosening the U-bolt nuts (or in some cases removing the U-bolt) & swinging the guide roller over the tube in the frame it mounts to, so the guide roller arm will be horizontal instead of vertical & the roller will ride more on the top of the BW than on the side of it so to speak.

Sorry I don't have a photo of this.
    Where's Mrs. Pisses?
    And where's my son, Schmuugar?
