Quick question here...I have noticed that after I bend the small elbow up so I can get the lift lower, the spring rod is tilted more upwards rather than level with the stantion. Is there a more positive way to bend this so this won't happen, or is it just the end result, and don't worry about it.
I just feel as this since this is happening, that the small rod is being pushed upwards, and or bent causing the spring rod to be more upwards than level.
My father told me to never get old...I should have listened!
My preference is to have the spring rod slightly above level. This reduces the likelihood of a ball stopping at the top of the lift rods since your bringing the ball higher up in relation to the ball wheel, it also minimizes the amount of shift needed by the spring rod to eject the ball.
Just make sure they aren't so high that when a ball enters under the rods the spring rod bush isn't being pinched by the spring rod and that the spring isn't rubbing against the plate for the track support arm.
