  • Pulley for pit idler number.

Have the old style welded mount to frame without machined tube ends. Bearing gave way in pulley. My parts book shows bearing for the machined tube. I take it that the old style has a larger i.d. Have not found the number for said pulley bearing assy. Thanks.

            Yazu:
What are your serial numbers? I worked on some 1000# machines with welded shafts but all had the shaft machined down to 1/2"

The first 16 we have are all 3400's. I looked at the situation today. What threw me was the marks on the post. The bearing must have been bad for awhile. The center must have come apart, and dropped down. How it worked , I have no idea. I made a spacer from a bronze bushing, and we are up and running. Thanks for the input.

You could take a replaceable shaft, cut it so that it could be "bolted" to the old one. Here is a pic of one I did...though this was done for different reasons the idea is the same.
