I can't seem to get the pinsetter of of second ball, my problem is that after it picks up the pins and respots them the deck raises up and the deck hook doesn't catch the deck and the deck lowers back to the 90 pinspot level and the rake stays up. If I recycle, it does the process again. Picks up pins, respot pins, deck and rake go up then just the deck lowers. I have changed the deck hook already and made adjustments to the detector rod and still can't figure it out. Do you have any ideas for me? Thank you in advanced.

It really just seems like a holding hook adjustment.

Could be that the needle bearings in ears of the deck lift shaft or the bearings in the top of the deck lowering hook have gone bad and the deck will not come up high enough to let the deck holding hook latch on to it. If it continues to cycle to 90 degrees with the rake up...the detector is fine. It is doing what it should be doing.

Steve: After rereading the first post, the rake is up with the deck down, i'm inclined to agree with your post of the inability of the gearboxs raising all the way up. Much as Keeth's post.
