Sweeps after 1st ball
I am having issues with the machine sweeping after the first ball is thrown. It never comes out of first ball. Ball enters pin area. The rake trips, then sweeps. When I cycle with the solenoid or the reset button, it cycles properly. Does not score pin fall either.Tags: None

we need a better description of what is happening to help you.
"The rake trips, then sweeps. When I cycle with the solenoid or the reset button, it cycles properly." If the rake is tripping and sweeping on its own, why do you need to press the reset button.....is it getting stuck at 270 degrees?Nick

I found in the detector that the cam roller bearing on the reset lever was sheared off. Replaced with the new style reset lever. What I was trying to say was that the deck would not cycle first or second ball it would just sweep off the pins and set a new deck of pins. It would work with the reset button or the cycle solenoid occasionally, but if a ball pasted through it would just sweep the pins and set a new deck of pins.
