deck holding hook
I have a holding hook that is catching. The machine is cycling through 1st ball. However when it is time to set new pins my holding hook is catching and will drop the pins from high and the hook stays in 2nd ball position after the cycle is complete. I did the out of range adjustment the I replaced the holding hook made the adjustment, but it is still catching.Tags: None

Make sure the OOR latch is not getting caught on the roll pin. Flip the latch up and run it to see if this is the problem. Another thing to look at is when your machine cycles does the rake sweep hook move? If it does shut the machine off at 0 deg. LOTO. Manually crank the gearbox forward till the rake sweep hook stops moving. Now make the deck holding hook adjustment. Let us know what you find.(Psalm 37:29) The righteous themselves will possess the earth, And they will reside forever upon it.

Are you saying the deck is held by holding hook and moving deck shifts and sets pins from that height?
If so, you might have to also check your upper detector rod adjustment...
mikeDO A NEAT CLEAN JOB, AND FIX IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME. THE ONLY WAY TO WORK.

I had a 4:1 go bad and I've never seen or done one before. Trying to search the depths of the forums, YouTube videos, it didn't seem too bad....

Turret clutch rebuild
At what thickness do you replace the clutch face.
Is there a minimum dimension from the clutch face to the rivet.
Thanks...
