Depends on which switch you are asking about. Middle or the right hand switch? (Remember, all directions are done as if you are looking from the front of the pinsetter.)
Wepauls answer is correct if you are asking about the right hand switch, but if you are referring to the middle switch, you attach to the coil of the motor start relay (RL2-G) with one wire and the other goes to wire 17...this wire loops between B of the managers control cannon plug and B of the masking unit cannon plug.
Hope that helps...TSM & TSM Training Development

Steve is correct. The middle switch should be wired in series with the safety system switches (deck jam, turret jam, manager's control switch and masking unit switch). All of these switches must be "on" for the pinsetter to operate.

I emailed Steve last week telling him of my aha moment regarding the switches in series. I forgot to ask him about what he posted. Right now the middle switch bypassed the safety switches which as you know can cause a lot of problems and it does create a safety issue. Now I have the last piece of the puzzle that I can make my pinsetters safe again. Redclutter! this thread was an excellent question, there is always another person sitting behind the screen that should have asked the same question 3 1/2 years ago.. It would have saved one moving deck and two cover plates. Trust me.. it happens. Thanks again Steve! excellent post.

*sigh* Hello friends..
I had a 4:1 go bad and I've never seen or done one before. Trying to search the depths of the forums, YouTube videos, it didn't seem too bad....

Adapting the Bluffton end cap & terminal board kit to Franklin BE (and FE) motors.
Left a rant about this in the bowling forum…

At what thickness do you replace the clutch face.
Is there a minimum dimension from the clutch face to the rivet.
Thanks...
