That looks like the piece that goes in the end of the scotch yoke.
It attaches to the bolt for the deck height adjustment.
it's common for the pin on the end of the bolts to snap so you may need to replace the bolt.

It usually won't cause too many issues as the pin the clip goes on is almost as long as the block is anyway. When I had one do this, I thought the pin would have broken off...but it did not and the machine was running just fine. Put a new clip on along with replacing the block and all was fine.TSM & TSM Training Development

I helped a center with scotch yokes and had one missing,
There were no issues from it missing other than a little deck height
