  • Rake shaft assembly

I just had to put in a new rake shaft assembly. The Three-Piece Modular assembly from Zot. Got it in but now the 10 side arm where the bolt goes in hits against the frame. Now how do I adjust? Is it just the PAC man spacers to move it over? Thanks.

You can use some shims, but make sure your rake board is still centered and not rubbing thr edge board. Or you may be able to move the frame over enough where it bolts to the top of the kickbacks. Be careful how much you move it, you can pull your pinspotting off if you move it alot.

If you mean a big washer that looks like a BIG U YES YOU CAN just slip over mounting between bolts and frame
      shams # 12-350118-2 =.030
      -3 =.040
      -4- =.050
      -5 =.060

But won't adding shims keep pushing to one side or another? 7 side hardly has any room to move. I was thinking instead of a regular bolt, finding a flat head or something to also help with clearance. But that's just a random thought.

Is it possible you have arms on backwoods
[ knowing zott I cant see them making something that hardware would cause headaches ]

I do not believe so. I looked at another lane with the same assembly just to not have that happen haha. But I'll have to double check. Pretty sure there right.

After reviewing ZOTT parts book it seams to me that you will have to use a 3/8 carriage bolt to up tan the clearance you need

bother please call me i have other solution for you to try # \/

I was thinking of a carriage bolt. But wouldn't the hole need a square hole for the carriage to rest in to tighten?
