One of my lanes the magnetic clutch cord got shredded off and so we put a new one on but it wouldn't work buy one of my other mechanics put a volt meter to the magnetic clutch and to the plug inter box for the power to check it but he had it in Oms and the machine shut off automatically and had a Burt capacitor which we replaced and also is blowing the low voltage fuses everytime you turn it on I've checked evey possible Way to check fr a short outside the electrical box but I can't find anything. And I can't find anything I the bbox itself I've replaced the 24v
motor start relay and the time delay module.

sounds like a rectifier to me.... did u ever smell an odor like rotten eggs? ( old ribbed style rectifier )... not sure if the new square style gives off an odor or not
Is the breaker off? Yes. I grab the wire.. Its hot.... I grabbed him. He bounced... I love 220 volts

if the cord got ripped up you may have a short in the channel plug where the clutch plugs in check for broken wire or wire off in channel near plug

Yes I changed the rectifier and that was the problem when it shorted the capacitor out I guess it took the rectifier out too. Thanks I appreciate it

At what thickness do you replace the clutch face.
Is there a minimum dimension from the clutch face to the rivet.
