Pinsetter foot on side wall
I found a mach. that has the foot not connected to the frame. I can not tell much from the picture in the manual. The bolt is missing, and I do not want to tear apart another to see how it works unless necessary. Thanks.Tags: None

If these are A's that have been converted to jetback or A2's, the original feet were cut off and bottom mounted feet installed.
There are three pieces inside the frame and a wedge, when the bolt is inserted and tightened they expand to lock inside the tube. there is a spring around the three pieces to hold them together while installing.
Most people just use a piece of all thread to replace the bolt. Chances are the original bolt broke and fell out, or just fell out some where.

If it's an A-2, you can use a 3/8" carriage bolt to slide into the slot and without the set screws, pile washers between the kickback plate and bottom of the foot. The last few washers can be split washers by cutting a slot in them and sliding them into the space that is left..

This post is not an unpaid promotion of my business.

*sigh* Hello friends..
I had a 4:1 go bad and I've never seen or done one before. Trying to search the depths of the forums, YouTube videos, it didn't seem too bad....

At what thickness do you replace the clutch face.
Is there a minimum dimension from the clutch face to the rivet.
Thanks...
