I saw it at a trade show. Not very impressed. It does work but I don't see the necessity compared to the price.

i'd like to stop by and see it. i still don't see the point though. as long as you maintain what's already there it'll last YEARS!

yeah i tend to agree but i got a nice price on it. it was cheaper than rebuilding it. So I figured I would try it out.

                    Is this it?

Brunswick Electronic 5 Pin Indexing Kit (PDF Document).

Looks a bit too complicated for my liking. My personal opinion from spending nearly a quarter of a century in this industry (most of it on Brunswicks) is the less electrical/electronic parts on a pinsetter the better I like it.

(Be careful what you wish for)

The following "illustration" is a side view of the cross conveyor, turret, and 5 pin chute showing the location of the device. As you can see it replaces the mechanical components of the 5 pin chute and when it works correctly you will see happy faces and hearts...and sometimes a bunny rabbit!

lol... that looks a lot like the insides of the pinsetter electrical boxes at a place where I used to work prior to them being rewired.
