--Check you long turret drive belt tension.
        --Check your turret level adjustment.

If the the latch completely clears the bearing on the stop lever
Then either your short turret belt is slipping or the lower clutch pulley is slipping.

If you need to crank up the tension on the LTD belt to make it work then
it may be time for a clutch rebuild.
Go with what works and not what the book says.

Tried some things during league found tightening the ltd belt actually made the 1 or 7 not trigger more often back off he pressure considerably and it's not happenening nearly as often still an issue though

If backing off the long turret drive belt tension makes it better...then the issue is the indexing latch is not getting off the top of the roller on the stop lever. If you are seeing the lever move from the pin landing on it and you are seeing this issue...no doubt there is some wear at the pivot points of the indexing linkage. If you do not have the bolts installed in the ends of the short indexing link...I would recommend them. These will remove quite a bit of the "slop" that occurs at these points...even wwhen the parts are new there is some "slop" as the x-washer pins do not clamp down. The bolts remove this movement and allow the linkage to do its job better. They are sold by Quality...12-1587 and 12-1588. Also...if you do not have a positive stop for the indexing latch...this would be a great improvement to the machine and will allow you to eliminate the stop plate adjustment at the back of the indexing trip lever.

JAW Just to clarify your situation. When you have your problem do you push down on the head of the pin to get it to index or do you manually advance the turret to get it going?

I have built a tester for the MP Chassis for the 82-70 machines. Instead of using the cam switches
I am using relays. My question is to anyone that may...

                *sigh* Hello friends..

I had a 4:1 go bad and I've never seen or done one before. Trying to search the depths of the forums, YouTube videos, it didn't seem too bad....

                Turret clutch rebuild

At what thickness do you replace the clutch face.
Is there a minimum dimension from the clutch face to the rivet.

                Thanks...
