I have a machine that will not turn at the front desk and will not turn on using the old rocker switches. I know you can
use a jumper to by pass the old switches to check to see if it will turn .Can someone tell me how to do this?

    Thanks Ron

On the 3 prong canon plug you would jumper positions B & C. This in effect closes the front desk switch.
You don't have to be crazy to do this job...But it helps!

I put the jumper on the b and c and the machine came on.So i assume the problem is from the front counter and the cannon plug?

Go to the junction box that the managers control cable runs to...it should have 8 lanes that terminate in that box. Using the same jumper you used for the cannon plug...touch the jumper ends to the green wire and the white wire for the cable running from the machine that will not turn on. If it goes on...the issue may be at the front desk or in the cable going to the front desk. If it does not go on...you will need to look at the cable going to the machine or inside the cannon plug for a broken wire.

Also...what version of AS-80's do you have?

You should be good after you repair the cable...if not, give me a call and I can walk you through it.
