Did anyone slow their machines down? I was told that the machines run better with less problems at slower speeds not to mention less wear on parts and belts. I know that I can change the pully out to slow it down but is there more that needs to be done?

If you're referring to slower gearbox speeds, all that is needed is new Motor pulley and proper motor to gearbox belt. You can also slow down ball wheels by changing the BW drive pulley on the jackshaft; if you slow down too much, you will lose pit speed as well, which might require a new sheave on the pit drive if desired. Pinwheel can be done by changing pulley on the Mag Clutch from A-2 to A style. Many options to play with.

Do yourself a favor and do all the slowdowns you can until all are done. Its worth the time and effort.
