Ted paid a visit to my center in October to participate in our scoring upgrade. I don't know if this is the first of it's kind but he liked it and wanted me to post some pic's.
This was done prior to me taking over 6+ yrs ago. IMG_03811_zpsefe273a6.jpgIMG_03821_zps20e8070d.jpg It makes a great hand hold too!
I just finished neatly securing all the existing and new scoring cables for our now 32 lane center.
Lonnie,
Ted and I both liked this. Neither of us has ever seen this type of mod before. One of your photos is out of focus and the other is a little hard to see the full extended bar since the black wires match the color of the bar.
Folks, what he has here is an extension of the "Over the Rabbit Ear Wire Brace" that extends all the way across the top of the upper rake shaft from one side to the other. This allows for ALL wires to be tied to this bar and NONE to the center shaft. I think it is a great modification.

I'll try and snap some better shots tomorrow. Glad y'all like it! Just don't wrap the wires with electrical tape, it gets sticky and nasty after awhile!
I have some brackets there that look manufactured...I do not have any pictures of them at the moment...when I get back to work from driving cars at Barrett-Jackson ...I will take a few and post them. I have no idea who made them but I am sure I have seen them before...somewhere. Hopefully, someone else will recognize the brackets and let us all know who made them.

Brunswick originally installed factory brackets for the old discrete scorers. They were kind of flimsy, but I kept them through three sets of scoring systems over the years.
They work good if the cables were properly routed to the center shaft. Of course this was back in the day when lane cables had 24-40 wire pairs in them.
Good morning, I have built a tester for the MP Chassis for the 82-70 machines. Instead of using the cam switches I am using relays. My question is to anyone that may...
Is anyone running the solderless relays on the accelerators? How do you like them? What brand? How difficult to convert was it? Would love the feed back as I'm about to switch...
Working...
