I have a lane that will occasionally set a blank set of pins when the deck is full of pins. Then when the bowlers cycle it to set pins it sticks at 180 because even the the deck is full it releases the full deck signal on the prior cycle. This has been a problem for weeks now and i cant figure it out. Please any help would be great

Are you saying the moving deck isn't shifting when it's suppose to set new pins? If it is, and the scissors are closing instead, it could be a sheared roll pin in the moving deck/scissor selector on the D shaft.
As much detail about the problem will help.Last edited by Kanga (James); 01-15-2013, 06:28 PM.Factory & Converted A-2 (US, Ger, Jap)

Yes, Kanga. I was at the counter last night and was watching it . The machine would come down to set pins and you could see all the pins sitting in the buckets. It wouldnt set them. Then when they would reset the machine to get pins it would stick at 180. It does not seem to be doing it at a particular time either. Im just at my breaking point

Look at your moving deck-scissors latch (flag) when the machine is cycling. It could be out of adjustment or bent or loose. Is it not under the scissors cam follower when it is supposed to be setting new pins?(Psalm 37:29) The righteous themselves will possess the earth, And they will reside forever upon it.

At what thickness do you replace the clutch face.
Is there a minimum dimension from the clutch face to the rivet.
Thanks...
