  • yellow pins and quality turret belts

Has anyone else used the high performance Quality turret belts. I like how they deliver the pins up the cross conveyor, But after a few months the pins on that lane will start to turn yellow. The pins are only about 6 months old, but Look terrible. Does anyone have any suggestions or solutions

Re: yellow pins and quality turret belts

Are yours the grey belts?? The grey styles did (do) turn pins yellow, had 2 lanes with them but after a year they stopped turning pins yellow, there was something in the belts that reacted to the coating on pins to turn them yellow. The NEW black belts are more tacky and grab the pins great!!If you order new c.c. belts ask for the newer styles, the cogs(ribs on belts) are smaller and closer together and the belt is slightly smaller too.Have'nt had any problem with the new black belts at more turn pan jams etc.So far it's a great belt for me!!If you have they grey...i doubt you can stop them from turning pins yellow.
