  • Bad Pins

    Hi guys

Well this has been one hell of a season so far...The news pins we recieved from Brunswick this season are the worst batch of pins I've ever seen...I shudder to think of how many broken pins we've had...I just pulled another pin out of a machine today with it's head completely off...checking for cracked and broken pins has become a daily routine...respots are out of control...if we didn't have wooden pin decks I'm sure out-of-ranges would be as well.

The pins we have, have the letters K A on the neck...I was wondering if anyone else is using these pins and experiencing similar problems.

    Thanks

    Beerme:

Check the permit number on the pins...if they are Max pins with the permit number 370 on them then they are not made in US maxes, but are clones that are made in Taiwan.I went through a year of hell with these pins.Get your owner to call your Brunswick sales rep right away, before the warranty runs out. They know about the problem with these pins and will do something??? to satisfy you. These pins were dumped on the Canadian market as a cost saving measure for Brunswick. Get rid of them quick!!!!!

You only need 2 tools...WD40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD40. If it moves and it should't, use the tape.
