  • Cushion lingage

Needed to rebuild a couple of cushion lingages, checked my new Quality catalog. Found a lingage mini kit for $53. Checked the individual prices on the parts contained in the kit, came to $41. That means they charge $12 to put it into a kit. Does not sound like you are getting a deal on the kit. PJ

Quality does that with a lot of assemblies also. Deck Hook Lever Assy comes to mind right off the bat.

My experience is that you don't always need all of the parts in the rebuild kit. I just keep plenty of extras of the high wear parts in stock.

        hey guys,
while on the subject of cushion linkage has anyone tried those urethane follower links from vantage????? or zot's superlink?????
just curious, i havent tried either and was just wondering if anyone has had success/failure with either.
        later guys,

I have used the super link from ZOT. Built well. I was only there a few months after I installed them but in my opinion if it comes from ZOT it's going to be well made. They don't seem to hold back on quality.

I wish they would put that same quality in their adhesives. First off the tiger strips I bought would stick to anything but a ball wheel, thinking it was just a mistake with the adhesive I bought some foul light reflectors, after all four of them fell off the bracket I had to re-glue them. I have had much luck with almost all zot products, I think they need to buy their adhesive elsewhere though.

and then he said, "on your death bed, you will receive total consciousness" so I got that going for me...... which is nice!

              Hey Guys,

Be careful with those ZOT follower links. The fact that the links are steel is ok but having a stud instead of a bolt for the cushion lift tube seems to put a lot of stress on the cushion mount braket. Have had to replace a lot of forty dollar mount brackets. Havent tried the vantage follower links, although urethane doesnt sound like it would hold up very long.
