  • lift rods ????????? new picture??????

Hey does anyone really know what an OEM lift rod looks like? I don't. If you have any pictures that you could post that would be great. I have never been in a center that the rods all looked the same, some are bent one way others bent the other. Some are dead nuts center others off to one side or the other. What are they sopossed to look like? Not saying mine don't work, but I'm starting to rebuild all the machines and I'd like to put everything back to as close as possible OEM.

    THANKS---- :p

I smell a business opportunity here. If a person was to buy one new lift rod assembly, build a jig around it, open up that jig and add some hydraulic cylinders, he could put a bent lift rod assembly into it and stomp it into shape. Might need to make two jigs, one for A and one for A-2 lift rods or one jig might be adjustable for both. The machine should fit into the back of a pickup truck and if proprietors were willing to spend a reasonble amount per unit........

My brother in law - who is a great Brunswick mechanic told me his trick....he take a huge prybar and bends the rod to the correct dimension and then he doesnt need lift rod clamps etc.
