Electrical Problem

Any Help? All switches off, I turn on the breaker on the machine electrical box on comes the machine. With it running I turn on the maintance switches on the rear of machine the motor start solenoid energizes on, push the reset button on the rear of machine nothing. Looked over all wirinig don't see anything shorted.

My first guess is stuck points at your motor contactor since your 24 volt circuit is dead.

Stuck points on the motor start relay will also do this...measure the voltage to the coil of the motor contactor. If voltage is present with the mechanics switches off, then look closely at the motor start relay contacts and see if one of them is stuck closed. If no voltage is present...fall back to Jogger Link's post...it will be the contacts on the motor contactor. Good luck...
