• A machine ball wipers

Does anybody know any place to buy ball wipers for A machines? They are the ones that go on the hoops over the downsweep. Saunier-wilhelm used to stock them but no longer sell parts.

If you're talking about the ones that go on the center track that attatch to the hoop with the weird-shaped springs, I've got a bunch I no longer use. Still in good shape, but obviously used

Make me an offer:

Doesn't sound like what I need. The ones I have go on the hoop like a curtain goes on a rod. I've checked all the ones in the parts books and the only picture is in old Brunswick parts manual but NA of course. Probably have to have them made.

You are correct about not being able to find the wipe you are looking for. I haven't seen that style in over 20 years and that center closed down shortly after that. I would suggest going to the newer style. Look in your blue Bowling Service Parts Catalog. Look under Dropsweep Assemblies & Ball Dusters. What you need is there to convert to the newer style.

Sherlock,
It sounds like you are looking for the ball duster cloth that was on a overland ball return system. We do have a source for them and may have some in stock. The only change in them, is that we have velcro rather than the cloth loop.

Sherlock

I may be way off track here but at a couple centers we had AMF down sweep ball wipes. They
were round rings that you slipped through a loop
sewed in the end of the ball wipe. We use to get
those rings from AMF.
