Does anybody know any place to buy ball wipers for A machines? They are the ones that go on the hoops over the downsweep. Saunier-wilhelm used to stock them but no longer sell parts.

Re: A machine ball wipers
If you're talking about the ones that go on the center track that attatch to the hoop with the weird-shaped springs, I've got a bunch I no longer use. Still in good shape, but obviously used
Make me an offer:

Re: A machine ball wipers
Doesn't sound like what I need. The ones I have go on the hoop like a curtain goes on a rod. I've checked all the ones in the parts books and the only picture is in old Brunswick parts manual but NA of course. Probably have to have them made.

Re: A machine ball wipers
You are correct about not being able to find the wipe you are looking for. I haven't seen that style in over 20 years and that center closed down shortly after that. I would suggest going to the newer style. Look in your blue Bowling Service Parts Catalog. Look under Dropsweep Assemblies & Ball Dusters. What you need is there to convert to the newer style.TSM & TSM Training Development

Re: A machine ball wipers
Sherlock,
It sounds like you are looking for the ball duster cloth that was on a overland ball return system. We do have a source for them and may have some in stock. The only change in them, is that we have velcro rather than the cloth loop.

I may be way off track here but at a couple centers we had AMF down sweep ball wipes. They
were round rings that you slipped through a loop
sewed in the end of the ball wipe. We use to get
those rings from AMF.
