• Bungee Cord setup

I remember Brunswick having a bungee cord setup inside the elevator assembly but dont recall how its hooked up. This I believe was suppose to prevent pins from going up the lift. I saw it in a parts catalog but it just had a part number and no description of the setup. Does anyone use this type of system? Or can you give me an idea how it hooked up.

Curiosity is more like it but it seems that at one time the A2's might of used it. And if anyone has a Quality catalog I seen that they sell a bungee hookup with the lift rod parts. Whats with that setup.?

    Thanks guys.

    Re: Bungee Cord setup

Bungee cord hook goes into top of 10-pin side of the sheet metal backplate, through an eyebolt mounted just to the 7 pin side of clapper block, then on a "coat hanger" that hooks onto elevator frame. Works well, cuts down on pins in track and subway bigtime.

I used to have a picture posted on my website, but it appears to have gone AWOL when I trashed the site to start over. If no one else posts a pic, I'll put it back up monday when I get back up north:

      Re: Bungee Cord setup

      Thanks Kevin.

The pic would help. I might have to modify our older A2 converts along with the others to help cut down on the pins. Ive only got some lanes that are more bothersome then others.

      Thanks again.
