  • Fuses for control box

Yesterday (Saturday) I went to a small center to replace the motor start relay. While checking the fuses I found that most of the fuses were high amp instead of 1A. The fusestat they were using was rated at 6.2A. I know that the primary should no more than 1A. What about the secondary, should they change that 3.2A? Paul

    Re: Fuses for control box

The Fuse in the middle for the primary should be a 1 amp slow blow (jap machines use 2 amp) the fuse on the side fot the secondary should be a 3.2 fusat slow blow (jap machines will have a 5 amp).
I converted all my fustats to a regular fuse holder and use the 5 amp fast acting fuses they are only 2.25 for 5 fuses.
