  • Another good product discontinued by "B"

Just got the word from my distributor that the Perry/Austen Tuf Devil pit board is no longer available. It only cost $100 less than the nice thin fiberglass board "B" makes now, which, I suppose, is why it was discontinued.

Anyone else make a good glass board that doesn't require you to glue parts on to make it fit in the frame, and doesn't cost a king's ransom????

I guess I should buy a nice big block of brunswick stock, bowling seems to be getting more profitable by the day???

    call Tom Schemm @ 1-888-724-2695
He has a very solid pit board with or w/out carpet. I've never had to replace one!!!!, no shims, no garbage..

That has been unavailable for about a year. They eliminated it when the absorbed the Perry Austin line into their own. I bought the last two my distributor had. I was told that Vantage has the same pit board, but it is only available with the carpet installed. I have two problems with that. The Vantage carpet is junk, and I do not glue carpets. If I ever need one, I may try begging someone at Vantage to sell me one without a carpet.

Actually, it appears the Vantage is available with or without carpet although I am not familiar with that board.

Also, there is a 9 ply Quality board which is substantially less than the Bruns AP board.

In addition, Northstar/Scripps now offers both a wood and fiberglass board.
