I need to get a couple pulley mounts and i see that quality has a mount where the shaft get's bolted on tight and brunswick has a solid unit.,which is better?
It took forever today to get the damn pulley off the shaft then, back on the shaft and the NEW pulley groans worse than the old one did.,it's not overtight on belt tension.
I'm going to order COMPLETE parts for front/rear pullies asap.
Are the v-belts better then the flat styles??
Use what you have to,to get it through the shift then fix it right.Do it right and live through the night...Safety first!
I have had the Quality mounts break just from assembly. They are split to clamp around the shaft. You just don't know if they are tight enough before they break.
I do not have exp. with V belts.
Also here we are again talking about accel RB.
This is the perfect time to show your boss the cost factor rebuilding complete assy. versus Zot jack up kits. The Zot kit will make your problem go away.
