I have been looking for a part number for the ball 1/2 switch for a model A-2 pinsetter. Anyone have the part number? And, where have you been getting your switches. This switch mounts in a rectangle shaped opening in a plate. It is very different than the micro switches the A machines have. Thanks.

If you just need the switch thats inside they have that also. All BPAA members have an account with 10% off book and free shipping from Internet orders. At least order a catalog and look at what they have to offer, it's free...........BEER: It's not just for breakfast anymore.

Re: ball 1/2 switch model A-2
Thanks to everyone that responded. The link to Grainger appears to be a different switch that what we have on our A-2s. The Grainger switch appears to be like the original A model switch. The switches we have on our A-2s is white with a button in the center and on the back there are about 4 spade connectors. The switch mounts in a rectangle opening in a bracket. Maybe we have a wierd deal. I will research the part number, 11-674995 provided in one of the responses. Thanks again.Howard

Oh yeh, I remember those cheap pieces of ****, ain't they the same they use as deck switches for the pin indicators, except they are double throw.Get me a Cherry Switch number and I'll find you a wholesale house that sells them cheaper than "B".BEER: It's not just for breakfast anymore.

Re: ball 1/2 switch model A-2
Yep, the switch is a Cherry and the part number is as Masternut stated, E79-40A. A local electric supplier has these available but you have to purchase a quantity of 10 at a minimum. I believe the price they quoted was $10.64. Anyone know of other sources that would sell in smaller quantities? We only need 3 at this time. Thanks to everyone for helping.Howard

Re: ball 1/2 switch model A-2
As I stated before...Brunswick sells them. And they will sell them 1 at a time.
11-674995
$12.30
If you only need 3, this beats paying over $100 for 10 of them. Yes, they are a little more expensive individually, but if you are worried about having 7 in inventory, this may be the way to go.TSM & TSM Training Development

Re: ball 1/2 switch model A-2
I checked Allied Electronics and they state they have 0 in stock. Bummer...I found the same part from a company called Digi-Key..they have 136 in stock...but they are a little more expensive than Allied. They get $6.37 each if you order less than 10. Digi-Key part number CH159-ND.
