Has anyone had any real luck with the Texas Hold'Em promotion from Strike Ten ?

Re: Texas Hold'Em

Not yet. We put together a friday night Casino doubles league. and we were thinking about adding in the promotion. 12 team league pays $500 to the winning team. Plus Casino is giving us some stuff to play with. Free money to gamble on etc....

Interesting concept but the nearest casino to me is a 2 hour drive.

2 hours may be close enough. Maybe the casino will tell you how many members of the slot club live within a 20 mile radious of your zipcode. Then you will know if thjey draw from your market area.

Could also plan a 1-day bus trip. Casinos love that too.

We have not started the texas hold'em bowling league yet but have been running a game in our lounge for 2 weeks now. we draw 64 players a night and the bar ring is up about $500.00
There is no charge to play in the 16 week tournament an we advance 4 players a night into a 17th week finals where the winner gets a trip to vegas.

I'm looking for a format where I can actually incorporate Texas Hold `em in a bowling game. I have an idea, but want to see if anybody has "THE" idea...

Great idea. We started our casino league this week. Turn out was as good as i hoped but will get better in the next few weeks. If anyone gets the promotion kits please post and tell us if they are worth it.

Actually it is a good looking heavy duty set however these are being promoted to the US wage earners all over the country and it comes back to supporting their income as well.
As I have stated on Bowltech before most of the full time jobs in my area are of the blue collar factory workers and when I show the set I have already "What's this Made in China" $h**!
Here in the USA the american working class support our jobs and PAY OUR PAYCHECK and it's my opinion that BPAA and Strike Ten should keep that in mind when buying merchandise that they want us to re-sell to them.
I can't speak for anyone else but I do not have and workers coming over from China to bowl in my center.
