  • Conqueror Bowland X POS error messages

At our center we run the Conqueror POS system. We have four computers connected. Frontdesk (Frontdeck1, Snackbar (Frontdesk2), Bar (Frontdesk3), and the Touney office (Frontdesk3). (name on network). In each computer we run a RAID1 system. A couple of week ago out Snackbar computer lost is power supply and two hard drives. I pull one for the bar, set everything as the Snack bar and everything works. The only problem we're having now is we receive a message in the message log system stating that Conqueror can not connect the the \\SNACKBAR\EPSON TM-T88III. The problem I'm having is that printer is not a network printer, nor is the network name for that computer SNACKBAR it's Frontdesk2. Talked to Qubica and the won't talk to me unless we sign up for an extended service agreement. The only networked Printers we have are the laser at the Frontdesk (working great) and the grill receipt printer (also working great). I have no network issues and no printer issues everything works great just a message. Please help.

It may simply be that Conquer has stored an old name somewhere in it's configuration. (I don't know anything about Conqueror.)

Otherwise, have all the computers been turned off since the computer change? Computer names can be cached.

Does a computer called "SNACKBAR" appear in Windows Explorer (My Computer -> Network in Windows 7, My Computer -> Network Places -> Entire Network)?

Also, try opening a CMD prompt (ala DOS) and typing NET VIEW - what names does it list?

I had the names wrong, Fontdesk 1, Frontdesk 3, Frontdeck 4, and Snackbar. Like that makes any sense
