Just out of curiosity, what do some of yall use to wipe your pinstters and pins. I am not sure what it is we use, but it leaves a slightlly oily coating on the deck chutes and pins (we clean the pins when we clean the pinstters). It's not too much to cause trouble and we rarelly have blackout calls, with vultex pins on old Brunswick As. Anything else you guys use?

    Re: Cleaners

We are using Murrey's Super-Tuf Cleaner. We've been using it about 6 months now and have found it cleans very well and leaves no residue. And everybody knows how important that is for pins and deck chutes. Combine that with Murrey's deck chutes...its like ice against ice ... nothing sticks ... no deck jams from sticking pins or tacky deck chutes.

    Just my two cents worth...

      Re: Cleaners

we clean everything on the machine with dba whiteglove dilluted 10 to 1(or so). as for cleaning deckchutes we use vanilla scented pledge. all the scents work the same, i just like the vanilla scent. i beleive we set a land speed record when using the murrey deck chutes along with the pledge.

        Re: Cleaners

I find that some old lane cleaner does the trick. Of course I dilute it like 100 to 1. I find that it is the same as windex. Problem being, when i clean the p-e guard's i use a slight coat of oil to give it a nice shine, but oil attracts dirt, so im usually cleaning them during league time once a week. Other than that, lane cleaner works great on grease and oil!
