Somewhere on the internet I came across this idea for sockets on a peg board. I tried implenting it at one of my centers today and the only thing I think I would modify is having 2 sets of 3/8 drive sockets...or larger peg with 2 sockets on each. Everyone has their wrenches pretty much hanging the same way and I thought about hanging sockets above the corresponding wrench size. Sliced up a wodden dowel I found in the back, opened up the pegboard hole at a slant and glued in the dowels.

Above the wrenches is a row of 3/8 sockets, 1/2 sockets and deep well

The other thing I set up is a set of allen wrenches color coded. There are only 3 or 4 basic sizes but the center just has a bucket of wrenches. They have the swiss army knife assortment as well but I thought about trying this out. They hang on a magnetic strip along with customized tools.

Of course...last trip into Tractor Supply Warehouse I wander thru the clearence/discount section and they have these real nice plastic-injection mold socket organizers for $5 each....going to abandon the peg idea and attached a slanted board against the wall to screw these onto. Had to tighten a loose locking collar on the yolk the other day and it's the same size as the respot cell. I'm sure there are more but I never really thought about it. The list will continue to grow.
